Most of these bowls have been turned 'green' from locally fallen trees or limbs.  

The logs are chainsawed, turned on a lathe, and left to dry for approximately six months.  During the drying process, the wood can warp or crack as it contracts.  Once dry, survivors are are turned a second time to final thickness, sanded and finished.

These bowls are food safe, and should be hand washed with care.
